Ever wonder how the ancient warriors such as, the Spartans, Vikings, and Aztecs to name a few became the mighty force that they were? How did they survive both mentally and most importantly physically? How did they walk miles upon miles at a time, fight literally for their lives while they were on the move, and eat enough to stay strong enough to fight as well as get the nutrients they need? How did they look the way they looked?

Back in ancient times these guys did not have the latest and greatest equipment to work out with. If they came to an obstacle that got in there way, that had to move it or die. Because if they couldn't move it out of the way the enemy could find them and kill them. These guys lifted heavy objects all the time and through the day and night as they were on the move. So these warriors had to be extremely strong and built like a stinking brick house. Not to mention the armour that some of these guys had to wear. Forget about the 40lb weighted vest you can get at Walmart, these guys carried equipment. Let's talk about their equipment for a minute. They wore head gear, that can weigh up to 12lbs, body armor up to 33lbs, their shield weighed in at around 20lbs, and don't forget they carried a 5lb sword for a total of 70lbs plus other equipment and weapons and their own body weight and they did this while carrying all of this on them at all times while walking hundreds and hundreds of miles and fighting for their lives. Do you think they were physically fit? I would bet to say YES!

So, how can you develop this warrior type strength and stamina like those ancient warriors. Hey, we may not have to literally fight for our lives on a daily basis, unless you are fighting for our freedom, but we might as well look like we can fight and we might as well look good doing it, right?

The warriors diet was to the extreme. Think about it. They may not have been able to eat for hours at a time. They may only get one meal a day. So how do they get the strength? From what I could tell doing some research these warriors would basically fast throughout the day and eat to their full when they get a chance to eat, since they would not know when they would be able to eat next. Makes sense to me.

What man doesn't want to look like a warrior and have massive guns, big chest, wide back, strong legs and ripped abs? Just like the super hero body, the warrior is who I want to be like.
